Robert Reginald “Bob” Roberts, age 75, of Selma (formerly of Mobile), sadly left us on March 28, 2023. He is survived by his wife Linda Roberts; five children Elizabeth (David) Hicks, Mary (Jeff) Wood, David Roberts, Robert “Bo” (Sarah) Roberts, and John Roberts; eight grandchildren Madeline Hicks, Marley Hicks, Eva Claire Roberts, Jackson Wood, Benjamin Roberts, Bella Cate Wood, Jasper Roberts, and August Roberts; and his sister Shirley (Randy) Brown.
Although his Parkinson’s diagnosis stripped much away, he never stopped putting others first. Despite the pain, he consistently put visitors at ease with his wit and charm. As a CPA, he was incredibly detail oriented and that tracked across every aspect of his life. He had many hobbies, but was especially talented at relaxing at the beach and watching Alabama football. A devout Christian, his wisdom and tact made him the bedrock of his family.
A funeral service will be held in his honor at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 1st, at First Baptist Church Montgomery, followed by a visitation immediately after.
