Ronald Charles Brassell

Ronald Charles Brassell was born to Charles and Janis Brassell in Montgomery, Alabama, on February 20, 1956. Ronald went on to graduate with the 1974 Class of Robert E. Lee High School. He was President and Owner of the Brassell family business, Asphalt Contractors INC, Red Eagle Sand and Gravel, and Selma Gravel INC. Mr. Brassell was also a member of the Alabama Paving Association.

Ronald's passions included skydiving, scuba diving, and boating. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time at his second home on Lake Martin. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all employees of his companies whom he too considered to be family.

Ronald Charles Brassell is survived by his daughter, Whittney Blain Brassell (Fiance, Ryan Phillips); two uncles; and several cousins.

Mr. Brassell is predeceased by his son, Chase Brassell; father, Charles Brassell and mother, Janis Brassell.

A visitation and service will be held for Mr. Ronald Charles Brassell on January 26, 2024, from 1:00PM to 3:00 PM, at First Baptist Church, 305 S Perry St, Montgomery, AL 36104, a graveside will follow closely after at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL, 36117.

The Brassell family asks that any donations be made out to Children's Harbor, 434 Childrens Harbor Drive, Eclectic, Alabama, 36024.
