COONER, Samuel W., 86, a Montgomery resident, died Friday, April 16, 2010. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 19, 2010, at 11:30 AM, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM, and a Graveside Service will be held at New Prospect Cemetery in Jasper, Alabama, at 3:30 PM. A Jasper native, he had retired from the State of Alabama and the US Army Reserves. Survivors include his wife, Elouise Cooner; daughters, Sharon Pate, Karon McGinnis (Mike), and Rosemary Sams (Trent); a son, Bob Cooner (Debbie); grandchildren, Seth Pate, Claire Jackson (Brian), Lindsay Morris (James), Clayton McGinnis, Sarah Sams, Adam Sams, and Wes Cooner; sisters, Mabel Green and Elzora Knippers, and a brother-in-law, Dallas Baggett.
