Tammy Meade

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Fred and Mary Lois Ray of Lake Martin; her in-laws, Richard and Anne Meade of Montgomery; her grandparents, Beatrice and Cornelius Ray of Lake Martin and Theodore and Maggie Hancock of East Tallassee; uncles, Bobby Ray of Montgomery and Mack C. Hancock of Opelika; great-nephews, Carson and Logan Walls of Opelika.

She is survived by her husband, David Meade of Prattville; her son, Luke (Lisa) Meade of Prattville; her stepfather, Wayne May of McCall, AL; her brother-in-law, Mark (Mary) Meade of Arkansas; her sister, Terry (David) Martin of Valley, AL; her brother, Mark (Wendy) Ray of Opelika; nieces and nephews, Caty Ray, Charity (Allen) Ashworth, Ken (Nikki) Spratlin, Billy (Ashley) Walls, all of Opelika; Lonnie (Nicole) Johnson of Valley and Marie (Michael) Allen of Hogansville, GA; great-nieces and nephews, Kayla Ashworth, Maxwel Spratlin, Ashton, Jonathan , Selman and Hannah Walls, all of Opelika; Lexie McDonald and Jacie Johnson of Valley, AL.

Tammy was a long time employee of Capitol Chevrolet in Montgomery.

Visitation will be at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2 – 3 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.
