Walter Otha Griffin, Jr.

He graduated from Marion Military School, University of Alabama, and New Mexico State University where he received his Master's plus in Chemistry, Economics, and Business.

His career consisted of chemical interest and wood manufacturing business.

His survivors include a loving wife, Gayle Tomberlin Griffin; children, Walter Otha Griffin III, Woody Holland Griffin; grandchildren; Holland Griffin, Bennett Griffin, Savannah Griffin and Walter Griffin IV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Frances Griffin of Marion, Alabama.

Donations may be made to First United Methodist Church 2416 W Cloverdale Park Montgomery, Alabama Music Department, and the Stegall foundation.

A visitation for Walter will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117. A funeral service will occur Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117. A burial will occur at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117.
