August 23, 1952—July 10, 2012
Anthony Joseph Cutrera Jr. was a lifelong resident of Morgan City, LA. He was known by many as “Little Boo”, “Boo”, “Catdaddy,” and some even considered him the “Leader of the Pack.” He was born on August 23, 1952 and passed away July 10, 2012.
Anthony had the most amazing spirit. He overcame many adversities in his life and surrounded himself with his loved ones. Many would see Cutrera Trucking’s or “Catdaddy’s” trucks passing them on the highway. But he had many passions in life, including giving the power sign on his Harley Davidsons, shooting the peace sign in his Rat-Ride, cruising in his corvettes, “relaxing” in his camper, and sitting in the front pew—“his pew”—every Sunday morning. He was definitely one for living in the moment, and that’s why God sent him Mrs. Freddie, or “Fredrick” as he sometimes liked to call her, to take care of him. He was blessed by God when he met Freddie Cross-Cutrera in 1996 and finally took the plunge in 2008.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother Carol Hanson Cutrera and his brother Michael Cutrera. He leaves behind his wife Freddie, his sons Kim and Anthony III “Trey”, his daughters Traci, Brittany, Alexis “Tootie”, and Karmen Gil Loupe, his father Anthony J. Cutrera Sr., his step-mother Garland, his five sisters Mary Beth Driskell, Penny Naquin, Maria Heymann, Deidra Verdin, and Laura Cutrera, his granddaughter Tara, his grandson Gabriel Anthony who was “his eyes,” and the many more friends and family members who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6-10 p.m., and the wake will continue at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. The Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Anthony will be laid to rest at Morgan City cemetery following the service.
THE LEGEND WILL LIVE ON FOREVER.
