Dr. Whitley was the kindest doctor I have ever encountered.  He was a calm, intelligent and good-hearted man who I always felt would help and heal whatever it was I was there for.  His memory will always be with me.  Rest in peace Dr. Whitley.javascript:void(0);

Dr. Whitley delivered me 60 years ago next month, and both of my sisters after me. He was a well respected doctor and gentleman. RIP Dr. Whitley.

Dear Colleen and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's recent passing. May your fond memories of him bring you peace and strength in the days ahead. You are all in my thoughts.

Along with so many others, Dr. Whitley delivered me in 1956, and was my doctor until I left Morgan City in 1976. He was my mom's (Pat Williams Breaux) doctor and friend for many years and spoke alot of wisdom into her life. I'm thankful he was our primary care doctor. Dr. Whitley was a treasured blessing to the people of Morgan City.

Dr. Whitley delivered me and my children.  He became my husband's physician, also. No matter what reason for our visits, we always left his office feeling better, smiling, and having had the time with him to share personal stories.  We moved out-of-state 25 yrs ago, when in my mid thirties and still seeking a doctor of his caliber.  God's Blessings to Family and Friends.

Dr Whitley ways my family's doctor for years. He delivered my siblings and myself, I have fond memories of him. He called me Freddie the Fink up until I saw him last. My condolences go out to his family. He is someone I will always remember.

Dr. Whitley was my very first doctor!  According to both my mom and grandmother, he not only delivered me, but treated me until I was at least 12 years old.  I was probably his toughest patient because I was so afraid of being in his office on 8th St. that I became very good at hiding in different exam rooms to avoid him.    His nickname for me was The Tiger because I always put up a good fight! (LOL) He was never afraid of me, though and understood my childhood fear.  He always showed patience and kindness.  He treated my entire family until he retired, and so, for all of his care and concern, I say from all of us, thank you, Dr. Whitley! Rest In Peace, always.

I was along time patient of Doc.  I first saw him when he was on Front st and then when he moved to office on Eighth  st.  He delivered my last child.  But I saw him regularly.  He and Ms. Leona were the greatest.  I loved him so much.  Did not leave him as a patient until he retired.  It was hard replacing him.  My love and prayers to the Family.

Dr Whitley was a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. Always enjoyed our time together. He will be missed but never forgotten. God Bless

Ms. Dot and Whitley girls,

So many memories have come to mind these last weeks as we prayed for you all.  It is a bittersweet time to say goodbye as your dad transition to the next life.  we are sad that he is no longer here to make us laugh and to take care of us.  But we believe that he goes to a better place.  And we have so many smiles as we think of happy times with your parents and you all.

On behalf of Mom and Dad, we extend our condolences.

I have so many fond memories of Dr. Whitley.  He was such a loving father to his daughters and a devoted husband to his wonderful wife of 62 years.  I learned so much just hanging around him.  He leaves a lasting legacy of love and will be remembered and missed by all who, like me, had the great good fortune of knowing him.  My family's condolences and prayers are with you.
