Gail Marie St. Romain

Gail Marie"Goonie" St. Romain, age 82, of Morgan City, LA passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 8, 1941 in Cotton Port, LA to the late Seltz and Lily Grandpiere Juneau.

Gail enjoyed cooking, entertaining and being with her family. She was a true Southern Lady who enjoyed Mardi Gras.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Al St. Romain, Sr.; parents; son, Mark St. Romain, Sr.; brother, Vernon "Pocky" Juneau and her sister, Ruth Wheat.

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya St. Romain; son, Al "Marty" St. Romain, Jr.; companion, Al Louviere; 3 grandchildren, T.J Oubre and his wife Bethany, Alex Oubre and his wife Jenna, Mark St. Romain, Jr. and his wife Lindy; 6 great grandchildren, Beau, Ben, George and Maggie St. Romain, Beau and Haddie Oubre.

Family and friends of Goonie are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 9am to 11am with the Funeral Services immediately following. She will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
