Jade Alexis Wiggins

September 25, 1999 – April 25, 2011

Jade Alexis Wiggins, born in Morgan City, LA and a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at the age of 11.

Jade enjoyed life, and was a very smart child. She was a straight A student at Labadieville Middle School; she won the Assumption Parish spelling B last year; she was a member of the Beta Club, the Student Council, and the Science Club; and was a dancer with Dance World, participating in ballet, jazz, and tap for the past 8 years; she recently passed her points test for earning her real ballet shoes. She enjoyed being a member of the church choir at Victory Baptist Church in Plaquemine.

Jade leaves behind to cherish her memories, her parents Jamie and Kelly Ray Wiggins of Bayou L’Ourse; her brother Jamie Paul Wiggins, Jr. of Bayou L’Ourse; her grandparents Donald and Janell Ray of Bayou L’Ourse and Tommy, Sr. and Jerry Jean Wiggins of Morgan City; and many relatives and friends.

Jade is preceded in death by her great- Aunt Ida Richardson.

A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home; and continuing Friday, April 29, 2011 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am; with services beginning at 11:00 am in The Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel.

Jade will be laid to rest in The Morgan City Cemetery.
