Janice Faye Adams

Janice Faye Adams was born on December 2, 1955 in Morgan City, LA to the late Valarie Hebert Jr. and Shirley Pisani Hebert Zander. Janice passed away on July 5, 2023 while peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Janice will be deeply missed by her husband, Ricky Adams; daughter, Krissa Chauvin (Shane); son; Kurtis Aucoin (Audrey); step daughter, Natasha Domangue (Corey); grandchildren, Jordan, Janna, Joshua, Jakob Gachassin and Michael Aucoin; step grandchildren; Matthew, Liam Domangue, Kiylie and Christopher Chauvin; great grandchildren Maddix, Braxton Gachassin, Kingston, David Chauvin, Chevie and Camden Giroir; two sisters, Connie Shepherd (Walter) and Kim Hayes (her companion, Milton); one brother, Stephen Buster Hebert (Mark); and two godchildren Laura Kennedy and Andy Hebert.

Janice is proceeded in death by her parents; Valarie Hebert Jr. and Shirley Pisani Hebert Zander; step father, Chuck Zander and two nephews; Joey Paul Hebert and Aaron James Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Kurtis Aucoin, Shane Chauvin, Michael Aucoin, Jordan Gachassin, Joshua Gachassin, Jakob Gachassin, Peter Thompson and Andy Hebert; honorary pallbearer will be Corey Domangue and Stephen Hebert.

Visitation will be held at Cornerstone Ministries on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 9am until time of services at 1pm. Janice will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Thibodaux Cancer Center, Dr. Scott Hebert, Nurse Sonya, and a dear family friend, Gail Adams.
