Myrtle will be remembered as a woman of extraordinary kindness, whose heart was always open to others. She lived with a quiet compassion, constantly thinking of those around her and offering care, comfort, and concern in ways both big and small. A devoted wife and loving mother, she found her greatest joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother; her grandbabies were the light of her life, and she cherished each moment spent with them. Her warmth, selflessness, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she nurtured with such tenderness and grace.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memory are her husband of 65 years, Allen McNemar; her two sons, Allen McNemar III and his wife, Annette, and John McNemar and his wife, Kristie; four grandchildren, Darrell Pellegrin Jr., Mark McNemar, Beth McNemar, and John Ross McNemar; and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Paul H. Boudreaux Jr.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Baby McNemar and Paula Pellegrin McNemar; and her parents, Paul and Mary Boudreaux.
