Nam is survived by his wife, Nhuc Thi Nguyen; Four sons, Xuyen Nguyen, Khang Nguyen and his wife, Phuong Vo, Canh Nguyen and his wife, Hop Le, and Chuong Nguyen and his wife, Thuy Nguyen; two daughters, Hop Truong and her husband, Nam Huynh, and Ket Nguyen and her husband, Son Dang; eight grandsons, nine granddaughters, eight great grandsons and four great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, and one grandson, Kiet Nguyen; and one great grandson, Jaxon Adams
Services will begin with a Mass on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Amelia. Visitation will follow that evening from 6pm to 9pm at Hargrave Funeral and will continue on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 6pm to 9pm also at Hargrave Funeral Home. On Monday, September 7, 2015 at 10am at Holy Family Church in Amelia. Nam will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
