Raymond enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, especially boiling seafood, cooking Cajun dishes, and BBQ. He enjoyed spontaneous trips and spending holidays with family and friends. He looked forward to planning Game Day menus and cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. Raymond and his wife were well known in Lakeside Subdivision for their annual Vine Dr. Halloween gathering for friends, neighbors and anyone who came by trick-or-treating. Without a doubt, the gumbo pots are on in heaven today.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Michelle Hoggatt and her husband Robert Jr.; sons, Gary Paul Keller and his companion Tessie Diaz, Van Christopher Keller and his wife Amy; nine grandchildren, Dexter Gaspard, Virginia Hoggatt, Bailee Hoggatt, Shelby Keller, Drayton Keller, Dillion Dinger and his wife Brittany, Jared LeCompte, Shaela Jordan and her husband Caleb, Lexy LeCompte; 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Virginia Adams Keller, brothers, Rene’ Keller, Jr., Russell Keller; sister, Shirley Romero.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 9:00am until the Service time beginning at 11:00am with David Spencer officiating. Mr. Raymond will be laid to rest next to his loving wife in Morgan City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are Gary Keller, Rickey Frederick, Joseph Pham, Dillion Dinger, Dexter Gaspard, and Dennis Romero. Honorary Pallbearers are Shelby Keller, Drayton Keller and Robert Hoggatt, Jr.
