Ann Marie Kenny

Ann (Annie) Marie Kenny Age, 61, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 the heavens seemed to lighten with a glow, and the earth became darker, dismal, and much lonelier when Annie was called home to join her loving Savior, Jesus Christ, where there will be no more pain and no more suffering. As is typical, She fought like a tiger to the very end.

Born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, Annie was the daughter of Ronald Bowen and Marion Taylor. She graduated from Oakridge High School in 1981 and went on to work for Sealed Power Corp for nearly 30 years. It was there that she met her husband, Jeff, and became a family. Annie had a heart of gold, and personal strength her strong faith guided her throughout her life. She often said, "He answers all prayers; it's just sometimes the answer has to be no."

Annie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jeff Kenny; her brothers, Mike (Mary) Bowen and Bill (Pam) Bowen; her best friend and mother #2, Avis Stick; step children, Erin (Jay) Zimmer and Michelle; grandchildren, Hayden, Blair, Ava and Owen her step-sister, Denice Venne (Erica); and many nieces and nephews, including Brady, Morgan, and Whitney Bowen. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Marion Bowen; her mother-in-law, Camilla C. Kenny; her father-in-law, Fred Kenny Sr.; her brother-in-law, David Kenny; her step-mother-in-law, Cheryl Venne; and her cousin, Shaun Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, 11am, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 3252 Apple Ave, Muskegon, Michigan with Father Bart Okagbue officiating. A Visitation one hour prior to the service (10AM), with a luncheon to follow at St. Thomas Hall. A Private Graveside will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Annie will be deeply missed by many. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
