Celia Halasinski, age 98 of Muskegon, passed away on September 30, 2016. Celia was born and raised in Muskegon, and worked for over 40 years at Shaw Walker. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed cooking, especially Polish food. She was a woman of faith and a practicing Catholic. Celia had an independent streak, and worked hard all of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, as well as a devoted sister. She was preceded in death by her brothers Tony and Edward, and her sister Elanore. Celia is survived by her son, Ted Halasinski of Spring Lake; Grandchildren: Michelle Goodall of Trinidad, Colorado, Tracy Halasinski of Denver, Colorado, Toni Halasinski of Austin, Texas; Great-grandchildren: Glenda Tombarelli of Northglenn, Colorado, Briana Bauer of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Great-great-grandchildren Chaz, Gianna, and Brookelin Tombarelli, all of Northglenn, Colorado; Sister Angie Ayers of Muskegon. Per Celia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery.
