Mr. Belanger was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, football games and Saturday morning radio shows. He will be missed for his love of cooking and a “pinch of this or a pinch of that” when he added ingredients.
He was preceded in death by his father Paul Belanger; and son-in-law Aaron Schleh.
Surviving are his companion of over 30 years, Cheryl Nicholes; children William (Christiana) Nicholes, Jennifer (Thomas) McClennon, Jeffrey (Kendra) Nicholes, Joshua (Jessyca) Nicholes, and Jessica Schleh; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Debbie (Danny) Gaves, Pat (Carla) Belanger, Tony (Tina) Belanger; mother Delia Belanger; 8 nieces and nephews; cousins; his lifelong friend Lee Deback; extended family and friends.
A memorial celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
