Boone was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked and retired from Anaconda Wire and Cable, and continued to meet with friends on Tuesday’s at Cherokee Restaurant after retirement. Boone was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Natalie Janet Smith (2002), a grandson, John Theodore Pierce (1967), and a son-in-law, James Edward McDonald (2016).
Surviving are his children, Vicky (Dale) Hilliard, Sandra McDonald, Janet (Edward) Felker, and Daniel Lee Smith; 8 grandchildren, Doreen Brunais, Timothy Pierce, Jennifer Moore, Hilary Hilliard, Stephanie Crowley, Jessica Smith, Daniel Earl Smith II, Aimee Vincent; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many extended family and friends.
A memorial celebration of Boone’s life will be 11:00am Friday, September 6, 2019 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service Friday at Ever Rest.
