Doris was born June 17, 1929 in Muskegon to Richard and Geneva (Christensen) Stayman. On July 17, 1948, she married Forrest Allen and they celebrated 61 years together prior to Forrest passing away in 2009.
She is survived three children, Mary Kay Stimers of Appleton, WI; Barbara Allen of Wolverine, and Jim Allen of Muskegon;
four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Betty (Stan) Carlson of Muskegon; special niece Sue (Bob) Stemm of Goshen, IN; and forever friend Ehtel Sharpe.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will take place.
