Douglas Bruce Miller

Douglas “Doug” Miller, age 62 of Muskegon, passed away November 29, 2014 at home. He was born in Lansing on January 31, 1952 to Francis and Martha (Hartig) Miller. Doug was known to his family as a handyman. He loved his Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Lions, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Doug was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Kay Cotton. He is survived by his wife, Kelly (Smith) Miller of Muskegon; his children, Jamie Busman of Zeeland, Aaron and Lindsey Busman of Ravenna, and Sami Esper of Big Rapids; his grandsons, Wyatt, Zhayden, and Ryker; and siblings, Dixie Stahr of Charlotte, and Roger and Alice Miller of Eaton Rapids. There will be no services for Doug at this time. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are sent to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
