
He was born on May 30, 1942 in Sparta, MI to Sherman and Agatha Davis. Everyone knows him. Duane was the guy who does things without being asked, could fix anything for anyone in need, did the tasks that nobody wants, helped in a moment’s notice, He was the one you probably owe money to and the guy you owed a huge favor. We all know one of those guys, this guy was Duane. Duane worked and retired from Alcoa as a robotics engineer. He was an active volunteer for Pound Buddies and Pay It Forward Outreach, was an Honorary Military Court Representative and he loved camping and spending time with family.
Duane is survived by his wife, Diana;
his children, Heather (Will) Pollock, and April Davis;
his step children, Jeffrey Griswold, Amy (Rodney) Beecham, and Katie Griswold;
12 grandchildren; his brother, Dave Davis;
and extended family and many others he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Suellen; and his daughter-in-law, Brandy Griswold.
A memorial service for Duane will be on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 1pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel; 1783 E. Keating Ave. in Muskegon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Duane Davis Memorial Fund at Harbor Light Credit Union in Whitehall.
