Elmer ‘Dale’ Swanstrom age 70 passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011. Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Judy, and a special friend Janet Chandler. Dale is survived by two children, Lisa (Kyle) Segar and Mike (Cheryl Sanchez) Swanstrom; five grandchildren; Kyle II, Katherine, Stephanie, Kelcie and Michael II. He was retired from CWC; was a member of American Legion Post #9, the Fruitport Eagles and the Vikings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Cornerstone Church, 8833 Holton Road, with Reverend Kyle L. Segar officiating. Visitation will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, on Tuesday, May 24th from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, at the church, one hour prior to the service. Dale will be laid to rest next to his wife Judy in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Ever Rest Funeral Home.
