Chuck was born October 31, 1943 in Muskegon to Antonio and Isabel Guerrero. He left Muskegon High School after the tenth grade and enlisted in the US Air Force followed by enlisting in the Army Reserve.
While enlisted he received his GED and continued his education after active duty earning an associates degree from Muskegon Business College and an associates degree from GRCC while in his 60’s.
Through life he applied himself to a myriad of jobs and occupations including two years on the road roaming the country. He enjoyed playing guitar, history, looking for treasures, and his cat Larry. He was a kind, compassionate, smart, simple man, who will be deeply missed.
Esequiel is survived by: his sons, Chris and Gabriel (Wendi) Guerrero; grandchildren, Olivia Frazier (Tyler Julian) and Trystan Guerrero; great grand-children, Isaiah and Ezra Julian; brothers, Tony (Gail) Guerrero, Burt (Maria) Guerrero, and Tom (Marie) Guerrero; sisters, Mary (Ron) Balentine, Virginia (Mark) Hamilton, Lina (David) Lopez, Angie (Terry) Schrebe and Carmen (Jim) Sebring; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong companion, Josie Guerrero.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 1783 E Keating Avenue, Muskegon. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will take place at Ft Custer in Battle Creek, MI at 3:00 PM July 21, 2021.
