James was born August 2, 1966, the son of Laverne and Connie Speers. James worked for Supreme Machined Products for over 30 years. He enjoyed his work and the people he worked with. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, loud music, and most of all being with his family. He was a hardworking, loving, caring, funny and mildly sarcastic man. He will be deeply missed.
James is survived by: his former wife, Shannon; children, Joshua Speers, Chelsea Speers, Spencer Speers, Allieah Speers, Delrae Haynes, and Cameron Haynes; grandchildren, Madison Bowen, Carter Jones, Journey Speers, Jersey Speers; parents, Laverne and Connie; brother, Laverne (Angie) Speers Jr.; sister, Tina (Scott) Decker; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 East Keating Ave. Muskegon. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the start of the service.
Memorial contributions may to made to James family to help with final expenses.
