Joseph was born in Hart, MI, and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School. Following high school, he served in the US Navy.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered for his kindness and generosity. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by sister Victoria Spellman the love of his life Sherri Schroer and dear family friends Margrit (John) Huettner, Glennetta Francis, and Lori Fisher.
Cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time.
