Lois Jones, age 69 of Muskegon, passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 2, 2017. Lois studied at the University of Michigan, and went on to earn her degree in chemistry. As an environmental chemist, Lois would go on to work at many plants in the greater Muskegon area. When she wasn’t working however, Lois’s greatest passion was being a mother to her two daughters. She was always welcoming guests into her home, and will be remembered lovingly for her grape jellies, cookies, and homemade candies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Gladys, and her daughter Lisa. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mike; Daughter Jennifer Jones; Brother Norm (Mary Jo) Ebare; Sister Barb (Harry Gabrowski) Najar. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel.
