Morris "Frank" Hatfield

Morris Franklin “Frank” Hatfield, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at home peacefully with his family at his side. He was 68 years old. Frank was born November 26, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Morris and Mabel (Franklin) Hatfield. He graduated from duPont Manual High School in Louisville, KY. Frank later went on to graduate from Boyce Bible College in Louisville, KY in 1978. He was ordained, as Minister, at New Salem Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. He served as the Pastor at Columbus Southern Baptist Church in Columbus, Indiana. He also pastored at Ninth Street Baptist Church in Muskegon, Michigan. Frank was Visitation Pastor at Evanston Avenue Baptist Church and Associate Pastor at Black Creek Bible Church. One of the many things he enjoyed was watching NASCAR racing and watching football. He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank is survived by his wife Nancy (Strausburg) Hatfield and his children: Rebecca (Curtis) Huddleston of Holland, MI, Tanya (Vicki) Douglas of Louisville, KY, Melissa Hatfield of Saugatuck, MI, John (Carol) Hatfield of Clarksville, IN, Daun (Gary) Bussing of Muskegon, MI, Christina (Don) Petrongelli-Sanborn of Muskegon, MI. Frank had 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Black Creek Bible Church (2651 Hts. Ravenna Rd., Muskegon). Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with medical expenses.
