

Norman was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 13, 1931 to Norman and Mathilda (Grzenia) Morse. He went on to attend LaneTech high school in Chicago and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was saved and brought into the Lord’s love at the age of 33.
Norman was known as a bus driver too many, an energetic builder of 3 homes, and an employee of Commonwealth Edison as a foreman for 40 + years. He also lent his skills to fixing cars and helping with church vehicles. Norman shared his love of the Lord’s word by serving as a Deacon and an Usher; He loved his church and his family faithfully. He always wanted to help people in any way that he could. Norman found joy in singing, and going to Yah group, Norman was a member of American Legion Post 69 of Whitehall.
Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley May, in 2021 and his parents.
Norman is survived by: his children, Vicki (Robert) Heminover, David Morse, Norma (Tom) Johnson, and Mark Morse; sister Monica (Gerald) Peterson; several nieces and nephews, 11 grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren and all who knew him.
In accordance with his Norms wishes, cremation has taken place and a remembrance service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church, 3593 Whitehall Road at 11:00am.
