Patricia “Pat” Alexander, age 77 of Muskegon, passed away in the loving arms of her family on Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was born on July 21, 1937 in Muskegon to Archie “Ray” and Gladys (Brown) Anderson. Pat worked as waitress at Mill Inn, USA Cafe, Whitlows, Bob Evans, among other restaurants. She enjoyed gambling on the slot machines at the casino and spending quality time with her grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ira “Skeez” Alexander; and her brother, Dean Anderson. She is survived by her children, Shan (Bryan Lindbloom) DeWald of Muskegon, Sheila (Paul) Hansen of Moorcroft, WY, and Sheri (Don) Bishop of Muskegon; her grandchildren, Jamie (Steve) Mascorro, Casie (Nate) Hanis, Jared (Lindsay) Hansen, Julie (Ryan) Pflaumer, Paula (Joey) Billington, Alicia (Zakk) Mielecki, and Justin Bishop; her 9 great grandchildren; and her lifelong friend, Betty Proksa. A memorial service for Pat will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11am at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel; 1783 E. Keating Ave. in Muskegon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment will be at Norton Cemetery in Norton Shores.
