Raymond J. “Hap” Rose, age 89 passed away on June 23, 2012. Hap was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Helen Rose and a daughter, Jane. He is survived by two daughters, Dyane (Jerry) Hines and Susan (Mike) Sherwood; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, along with several nieces and nephews. Hap was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and was retired from Continental Motors. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Military Honors for Hap will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Visitation and family gathering will follow from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Veterans Inc.
