Richard N. "Dick" Bourdon age 86 passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012. A lifelong resident of Muskegon Dick is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lillian; three children, Deb Bourdon, Rick (Dorothy) Bourdon and Chris (Vickie) Bourdon; six grandchildren, Brian, Collin, Nick, Aaron (Amy), Rick (Jennifer), and Rustin (Jeremy); three great-grandchildren, Mason, Isabella and Madelyn; siblings, Mary Ann (Jim) Thelen and Tom Bourdon; sister-in- law, Adeline (Albert) Thompson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, LaVern and Joseph Bourdon. Dick was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Graves Registration during World War II. He is a life member of the Don Rea VFW Post 8846 in North Muskegon and was retired from Brown Morse after 43 years of service. Dick was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2012. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Don Rea VFW Post 8846, 1061 Witham Dr. North Muskegon, Michigan 49445.
