Rosa Linda Godoy, age 45, a loving wife, mother, daughter and grandmother passed away on August 23, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Rigoberto; two children, Lourdes and Socorro; granddaughter, Araceli; her father, Francisco Nieto and a sister, Maria Guadalupe Lopez. Rosa was preceded in death by her mother, Francisca Dominga Nieto. Rosa was a longtime active member of St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church, 1292 Jefferson St., where a Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. on, Thursday, August 26, 2010 with Fr. Matthew Barnum officiating. Visitation will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, today from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
