Sandra was born and raised in Muskegon. She went on to work for over 30 years as a case worker for the Department of Social Services. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed traveling, going to the racetracks, and spending time with her friends. Above all, she adored her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished all the time she got to spend with her family. Sandra wasn't just a maternal figure to her own family; she was lovingly known as "Aunt Sandy" to everyone in the neighborhood. She was well loved, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sandra was preceded in death by: son, Vincent Barclay; parents, Irene and Raymond McIlrath; and sister, Sue Jones.
Sandra is survived by: son, Tony (Amy) Barclay; grandchildren, Drake, Carter, and Kinsley Barclay; sister, Bonnie (Jim) Yore; many nieces and nephews; as well as, many close friends and other extended family members.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date at Sandra's home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Veterans of America.
