i was very sorry to hear of Urb's passing and my heart goes out to all the family.  I remember him from Brunswick and St Mary's (he worked so hard on the restoration) and of course, his dedication in getting the causeway cleaned up.  if fact, I had just spoked to him recently that he needed to fire the people up again as the causeway is getting as bad as it used to be,   rest in peace Urb, you fought the good fight!!!

Sorry to hear. He was always a pleasure to be around. Always liked working for him, a really nice man, will be missed.

Our deepest sympathies to you all. You were all terrific neighbors, friends babysitters, and "special" grandparents. Urban was always there to help and guide (and watch) as we struggled through the remodeling of a very old farm! You all hold a special place in our hearts. The Jenkins'

To my Cousins!
I liked Urban as a cousin to look up to. One thing I distinctly remember when I was about 7, he & his family came over our house in Muskegon with his nice, big (pale yellow or cream color) Pontiac he had just gotten. He had to show us the 'power antennae'. Then demonstrated the antennae going up & down. Being only 7, to me, that was cool.
Another memory was, when they built their new house, (believe it was in North Muskegon) we did our visiting in the lower level. Some of the lower level wasn't finished yet... Don't remember if we ever got to see what the upstairs looked like.
I hope he has peace now & am glad he's not suffering from cancer any more.

Always enjoyed talking to Urban on the phone to schedule an appointment.  He will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family.  We have many good memories of our Beattie Rd. Neighbor.  Peace to all of you from Florida.

My thoughts and prayers are sent from Tulsa for my Dear Aunt Erika, and Cousins Judy & JoAnn. Although I couldn't be with you today, know that I was their in spirit.  My Uncle Urban was a very special man, who will be missed here on earth....but know that he is now at peace in heaven.
