Hi I am so very very sorry for your loss. That is huge. I did not know about it until this morning I read a comment on Kirsten’s  Facebook. The loss of a child or sibling at such a young age is very difficult to process. May you sense God’s comfort as you continue to grieve I am sure but celebrate your memories with him

Anthony was a schoolmate to my daughter, my families condolences to you all.


I was so sad to read of Anthony's passing.  I met him several years ago when he was thinking of moving into Pacific Gardens Cohousing Community, where I live. 
I recall, too, how his thoughtful questions impressed those attending an open house on the design for the planned studio theatre addition to the Port Theatre. He struck me as a kind and gentle soul.  
I also have a son with schizophrenia and know the pain that brings. My condolences on your loss.

I am so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news, Anthony was a friend, teammate, and Beach Drive neighbor. 

He could always be counted on as a friend and teammate alike and everywhere he went he brought with him incredible energy and positivity. 

He was always up to practice late into the evenings and then stop by the store with me on the walk home to share a box of donuts. He was a blast to have on volleyball road trips and could always turn it on when the game called for it. 

He had some great parties at his parents house but I better leave it at that.

You will be very much missed man, may you rest in peace.

I have never been in Canada. I met Henk en Mieke in Holland. They are lovely people.
All the words that I could write could not express how much I feel this loss  for you.
I wish you all strength and hope that you as a family can give this great loss a place in your hearts and lives.

I always have fond memories of Anthony, he was always fun and had a great sense of humour. Playing sports with him was always a good time and he was always competitive but kept it fun. In high school he was one of the reasons that our volleyball team had a chance of winning games. I could tell that he had really good parents that taught him good values and respect for others.  He was a strong person inside and out, he is a reminder that we shouldn't take anything for granted. Anthony could have done anything but was held back by his health challenges. You're an inspiration Anthony and I hope you rest in peace.

I have good memories of you living in the Netherlands. We sometimes had mailcontact. The last time  was that our eldest son had plans to come to Canada. You told several things about you and you're family. The message i heart from Willem, made me very sad. I want to give my condoleances en wish you strength and Gods power🙏

Anthony, you will be missed by many. As your volleyball coach I could always count on you to lead by example —- which you always did. You were a pleasure to coach —- someone who worked as hard as you could to improve. A great athlete who encouraged his teammates and lead by example.

Dear Anthony, I met you once at your parents (my cousin Mieke).  Because 
I am Dutch family I couldn't see you more.  You made a great impression on me. Also knowing that you had a lot of worries. I hope you find the peace you so desperately needed.

I just listened to Anthony's song "time is love". So beautiful. So impressive! I'm going to listen to him more often to commemorate him ❤️
