He was from a large family born in Gaspe Quebec, and joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1950, with twenty years of service. He married his wife Genia (Jean) Liber, the love of his life on December 27, 1954. He created a large family with 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, he is survived by his two sisters Rita and Eileen, who enriched his life.
He drove bus for Pacific Coach Lines (PCL) for twenty years.
After retirement, they enjoyed many years travelling to Arizona in their motor home.
Ken and Jean, were together until a massive stroke caused him to be hospitalized on the very day that was their 70th Wedding anniversary – December 27, 2024.
The Legion Branch #10, 129 Harwood Rd., will open at 2pm on January 7th, 2025 in honour of Godfrey (Ken) Cotton.
