It is with a heavy heart that, I am writing the news of the passing of my beautiful wife, Jacqueline (Jax to all her Friends) on the 29th May 2021.
Grieving with me, in the UK, are her son Greg, sister Maureen and her husband Malcolm and family, sister Vivienne and her family, Jacqui’s niece Karen and nephews Hedley and John, and their families.
In New Zealand, her daughter Kim is grieving, with her husband Colin, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was born in Bolton UK in 1935.
From her first job in the UK working in the cotton mills, to sales with the Hoover company, she retired after owning and running a heritage hotel in Southport.
She was known for a beautiful singing voice, her quaint whistling and of course for her love of ballroom dancing.
She had a zest for life and adventure, funny, straight talking, kind to a fault………feisty, yet sentimental, and a person who loved her many friends. A classy Lady
To me she was and is my North Star, East Star, South and West Star. She will always be my Compass, by remembering the wonderful years we shared.
They say that true Love lasts forever. I believe that to be true. I will always love her until the day I die………
Bless You My Jax …….. for being you….Your Diggs
No flowers please…rather a donation to Heart/Stroke foundation
