Jim was born in North York Toronto on August 17th 1943 to Karl Maguire and Florence nee Fazackerly Maguire.
He was a talented carpenter, cabinet maker and mechanic. He enjoyed figuring out how things worked and how to fix them.
Survived by his daughter Jennifer Maguire, daughter in law Nadine McDonald and his three grandchildren Liam Maguire, Emma McKay and Caleb Maguire. He will be greatly missed by all of us. We love you to the moon and back.
Internment to take place at a future date in Courtenay BC, at the civic cemetery with his son Nathan James Maguire.
