It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie (Marj) Rose Denslow on July 12, 2025.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Greg (Chris) of Nanaimo, grandsons, Chase (Tina) of Stony Plain, AB and Jordan (Simone) of Vancouver, BC.
Marj adored her great grandchildren, Carter, Grayson, Whitney, Wyatt, and Alice. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Clarence, her daughter Roxanne, her father Joe, mother Dorothy, her brother Lon and his wife Sandra.
Marj was born in Summerland, BC and moved to the island as a young girl. She became a teacher and taught in Lantzville and Nanaimo. She then spent many years working at Harding and Sons Jewelers. She and Clarence loved to travel in their motorhome across Canada and the USA.
She spent her last years living at Berwick on the Lake Retirement Community. We would like to thank the caring staff and her many new friends.
