Sharon "Shari" Lavern Konchak

She passed away peacefully in the presence of family, after medical complications took their toll at 82. She was predeceased by sister, Doreen; her brother-in-law, Ernie; and nieces, Leslie & Kristine. She will be missed by her loving husband, Tim; daughter, Tracy (Cedric); son, Bradley (Kathy); sister, Beverley; granddaughters, Vanessa, Krista (Simon), Victoria (Kenn), and Makaila; great-granddaughter, Ziggy, and great-grandson, Rex.

Shari was born October 7, 1943 in Lethbridge, Alberta, to mother Mae Green, and father Rex Umber. Family was very important, and she kept in touch as best as she could. She was an avid book reader. She had a way, a talent for written words, and enjoyed writing some very good poetry. One of Shari's hobby was researching her ancestry. She was very interested in those in her family who went before her. She loved to travel, and we had many trips to Mexico, and many cruises to wonderful destinations.

Shari's urn will be interred in the Konchak family plot at Royal Oak Burial Park in Victoria, BC. There will be a quiet celebration of Shari's life for immediate family and close friends at a later date.
