Abraham Rivera passed away peacefully in Naples, FL early Tuesday morning, March 15th, 2011 at the age of 83. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on Saturday, February 4th, 1928 Son of Pedro Rivera and Dominga Nieves. Abraham was married to Herminia Rivera for 51 years before losing his love of his life 5 months ago.
Abraham spent the majority of his long and beautiful life in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and Miami, FL before settling in Naples, FL, in 1992, where he lived the remainder of his life.
He was known for his love of his family and gardening, and above all his faith in God. He attended the church of Manantial De Vida. Abraham was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a giving friend to all.
Abraham is survived by his sons and their spouses, David and Michelle Rivera of Naples, FL, Donnie and Lisa Rivera of Bradenton, FL, and Adam Rivera and Alicia Acevedo of Naples, FL; and his grandchildren, Chase Rivera, Chadd Rivera, Lorenzo Rivera, Felicia Rivera, Vanessa Acevedo and Hayley Rivera.
