

He is survived by his mother and father, Dana and Steve Meek, his sister Emily (Meek) Dunn, brother, Barry Meek, brother-in-law Patrick Dunn, nieces Tessa, Hailey, and Lynsey Dunn, and nephew Dario Meek along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
After graduating cum laude from Michigan State University, Drew travelled to several states in his position as sales manager for Alexander London Saville Row. He later moved to Florida to be closer to family and became a middle school/high school history teacher in Lee County Schools. A Masters Degree in education was started at FGCU.
In his short life, Drew lived in eight states. He was a self-taught musician, excelled as an artist early on being only one of a few 7th graders to have his work published, earned a Young Author award, achieved various college awards and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society. Drew developed interest in mixed martial arts with a specialty in Jiu jitsu, and learned funk dance styles. He was an administrator with the Facebook group, Philosophers Posse! A group for Intellectual Discussion. Loving fitness, Drew was an avid runner, rock climber, and weight lifter before taking up tennis.
Those who became acquainted with Drew knew him to be a loving, gentle soul whose lives were forever enriched through spending time with him.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Noon at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108. There will be a reception with lunch immediately following the service.
