Barbara L. Bajza

Barbara Lee Bajza, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday April 16th surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with breast cancer. Barbara was born January 28th 1946 in Ballston Spa NY to the late Howard and Stella Schultz. Barbara graduated from Hadley Luzerne High School in 1964 where she met the love of her life and married Samuel P. Bajza. Sam and Barb were happily married for over 55 yrs. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was always busy raising children, working, and loved attending her grandchildren's soccer games. Barbara owned and operated a specialty item business called Impressions By Barbara. For fun, she enjoyed fishing and boating . Barbara and her husband also enjoyed traveling, she loved Italy, Aruba and they enjoyed visiting many wineries with friends. Twenty years ago Barb started a family tradition where the entire family would gather each summer for a week at the lake in Deep Creek MD. The family enjoyed this time together and all the kids looked forward to it every year. We all enjoyed boating, fishing, jet skiing, campfires and s’mores, memories we will have forever.

Surviving family include her loving husband Samuel Bajza, her sister Jaclyn Robinson, Uncle Phil Wielewinski, Sister in law Barbara DiCiccio, her 3 children Sherri Belmore, Jeffery Bajza and Stacy Bajza. Eight grandchildren including Tyler Rodrigues, AJ Rodrigues, Samantha Rodrigues, Michael Bajza, Matthew Bajza, Joseph Bajza, Haley Bajza and Jack Bajza. In addition she also had several special nieces and nephew

Services include: Visitation Tuesday April 21st from 1-3pm and a Committal Service at 3pm
