Barbara A. McGrory

Barbara A. McGrory, 56, of Naples, Florida passed away on November 14th, 2017. She was born in Niscayuna, New York. She graduated from Reading High School in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1979. After High School she went on to get a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Music and Audio Engineering from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She was handed her diploma from Quincy Jones who was the commencement speaker that year. After college she moved to Marina del Rey, California where she completed her Scuba Certification. Barbara moved to Naples, Florida in 1989 where she worked as a Paralegal and as a Real Estate Agent. In Barbara's spare time she played the flute in a Latin Jazz Band throughout the Naples area.

Barbara is survived by her son, Joshua McGrory and her sister, Lynn McGrory. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Barbara McGrory.

Services will take place at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens (525 111th Ave. N., Naples, FL 34108) on Monday, November 20th, 2017 with a Visitation from 11:00am-11:30am; Funeral Service at 11:30am; and Burial to conclude.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all of Barbara's doctors and caregivers that have assisted her through the years.
