
Charles Ellis passed away peacefully on March 28,2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years,Dolores Catherine Ellis (Neal), three daughters, Susan Ellis of Naples, Cynthia Ellis of Naples, Stephanie Ellis Biggs of Standish, Maine, sister, Margaret Stewart of Hollis, New Hampshire, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceding him death is a son Charles Neal Ellis, brothers James Ellis, Alfred Ellis, George Ellis, sister Elizabeth House, parents Alfred Ellis and Ann Finlayson Ellis.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 13, 1930. Charles graduated from Ridge Technical School and Northeast University. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army 28th Division stationed in Germany as a Tank Commander. Charles worked for Raytheon before retiring after 40 years as a Logistics Engineer while raising his family with his wife in Massachusetts. He belonged to a number of organizations, American Legion, Elks Club, Member of DAV and The Links of Naples Golf Club.
A loving husband and devoted father, he and his wife moved to the Florida Keys after raising their family and enjoyed building their homes in the Keys before moving to Naples to make it their permanent residence.
Charles was an avid Patriots and Redsox fan and also enjoyed boating, fishing, golf and building homes. A celebration of life is to be held at a later date.
