Skip was born on December 11, 1943, to Marion Turner and Rudolph Young in Ft. Myers, Florida. He spent the majority of his life residing in Naples, Florida, where he found solace and joy in the beauty of the outdoors, particularly his love for fishing, the ocean, and wildlife.
Skip's love for family, food, nature, and his passion for commercial fishing brought him joy throughout his life. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his three daughters: Tamara (Michael) Kolb, Angela Hendricks, and Melisa (Stephen) Herrera; seven grandchildren: Sheena, Randell “Nathan”, DeAndre, Jade, Alexis, Christian, and Annelise and seven great-grandchildren: Kyla, Kayla, Maddison, Anastasiya, Eduardo, Lilija, and Aiden.
Skip will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
