Charles William Rittenhouse

Charles Rittenhouse, 86, passed away on April 26, 2022. He was born in Lansing IL, moving to Bloomington Indiana. He was in the Army from 1954-1956, he worked for the Bloomington Fire Department from 1962-1982, when he retired. He then worked in construction with various companies until he moved to Naples Fl, in 1996. There he had his own construction business until fully retiring, in 2015, at that time he moved to Bonita Springs Florida, there he settled into a new life of helping others in need, until he moved to Pompano Beach Fl, to be closer to family 2019.

He was a member of Community Congregational Church of Naples.

He was a loving father, survived by his 4 children, Brenda Floyd (Roger), Deborah Kemp (Shannon), Charles Rittenhouse Jr and David Rittenhouse (Colleen), 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He preceded in death by his Mother Bessie Layman Rittenhouse and his father Charles Rittenhouse SR, he was an only child.

A funeral service will be held on May 3rd at 12:00PM with visitation from 10:00am until time of service.
