

She is the beloved daughter of the pre-deceased Dr. & Mrs Alexander D’Angelo. Christine had 5 sisters and 1 brother, all born and raised in Binghamton, NY. They are Mary Hickey of Naples, FL, who predeceased Christine. Elaine Stanley of Naples, FL, Joanne D’Angelo of Bradenton, FL, Rosalie Hickey of Naples, FL, Alexis Sclama of Bethany Beach, DE, and John D’Angelo of Southport, NC. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 26 great-nieces and nephews, and 12 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Christine attended St. John’s Catholic Primary School and North High School, both in Binghamton, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Catholic University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Boston University.
Christine spent her entire professional life in healthcare, where she provided, coordinated, and managed/directed patient care, administered medications, and educated patients and their families. She worked closely with doctors in hospitals, clinics, and homes. She was affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital as a neurosurgical ICU nurse. She then became the senior supervisor in nursing at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Centre in New York City. Christine also spent almost 20 years at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, MD, as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and there she met 2 of her most favorite friends, Jeannie Milios and Jane Klucsik.
For the past 25 years, Christine lived in Naples, Florida as a Hospice RN Educator and after 3 years became the Chief Operating Officer of AVOW Hospice in Naples, FL. She retired from there in 2015.
A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial for Christine will be at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Naples, FL on March 17, 2026, at 11:45 AM.
She will be buried in Naples Memorial Garden.The Funeral Home handling her burial is Hodges Funeral Home in Naples, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Avow Hospice.
