She was born to the late James and Annetta Eagle, February 24, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BA in Education and received a Masters in School Administration from the University of Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Snider of 22 years, as well as, her sons James (Kelly) Edmiaston of Fayetteville, Arkansas, John Edmiaston of Conway, Arkansas, and daughters Denise (Robert) Hargie of Naples, Florida, Michelle Snider of Naples, Florida and Amanda (Matthew) Neely of Dayton, Ohio. She also leaves behind 8 beautiful grandchildren.
Dana was a retired school administrator with Collier County School District. She also had been a teacher and principal in Northwest Arkansas prior to moving to Naples in 1995. Dana was a past president of the Arkansas Middle Grades Association.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 6 at 2:00 pm with visitation at 1:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 525-111th Ave N, Naples, Florida 34108.
