Doris was born March 22, 1930 in Union County, N.C. to Oscar and Emma (nee Staton) Gaddy. She was married to Francis (Frank) A. Phillips for 55 years until his passing on June 13 2006.
Doris enjoyed baking, babysitting her grandkids, and fishing with her husband, Frank, in which she caught the larger bass.
Doris is survived by one sister, five children and seven grandchildren.
Services will commence on May 20th with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00AM followed by a celebration of her life at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens 525-111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Doris may be made to Avow Hospice Contributions 1095 Whippoorwill Ln, Naples, FL 34105.
