Doris was married to her loving husband Russell E. Walters Sr. in 1944, and was married for 61 years until his passing in 2005. She is survived by her son, Russell (Susan) Walters Jr., of Naples, FL, two grandsons, Eric (Leigh) Walters of Columbus, OH, and Scott Walters of Port Orange, FL, one great granddaughter, Emilia Walters of Columbus, OH, one niece, Janet Gilbertsen Schawel, and two nephews, James Gilbertsen and David Gilbertsen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris’s name can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
